It’s been hard to stay on top of the blogging!

A few weeks back, Steve approached me and told me that he had a proposition for me.  He had been asked by Dr. Hobson to do the audio for “Joseph’s Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” but was unable to fulfill his commitment since Creatio had grown so rapidly.  So he asked me if I could do it in his place. Another Post After Many Days

Woops, forgot to put in a few more days.

Let’s see: Last week I didn’t get a chance to go in at all (sick kid), but the week before Steve started showing me how the board in Mama Bear works.  I started experimenting with it a bit on my own time so I could get used to it.

Several Sessions Later

Unfortunately, I’ve neglected to post the last few sessions that I’ve been with Steve.  A few weeks ago, I got to watch Steve as he finished the session on a local band that had signed for recording.  That was very interesting to see how ProTools operated with the main board.

Today, Steve had me working with him fixing up the post-production audio room.  He called it something else, but I cannot remember for the life of me what he called it.  It’s going to be tough working with all these Mac Computers.  I am NOT a Mac guy by any means.

First Day of Internship

Today was the first official day that I started interning with Steve Smith (my direct superior) and Jeff Lockhart (responsible for me) on their Creatio/U-Rock project.  They have great things planned for me, and given the fact that it’s a start-up, there exists a lot of potential (their words, not mine).
